Loved the experience. Food was really tasty. The tequeños were my favorite, we didn’t have a chance to take pictures. Cappuccino tiramisu blew my mind, first time having it and it was delicious. The croissant was amazing, the meat and chorizo standed out. Definitely coming back.

Jhoanes Bakery & Coffee is a visually beautiful bakery in Astoria. The display cases are filled with colorful cakes, pastries, desserts, and breads that immediately catch your attention. If you're someone who loves trying unique desserts or photographing your food, there's definitely plenty to choose from. Unfortunately, the service left me with mixed feelings. During my visit with me and my friend, neither of whom are Spanish speakers, we felt that customers who were communicating with the staff in Spanish received more attentive and warmer service than we did. It was noticeably easier for those interactions to get quick responses or assistance, while we often felt overlooked when we had questions or needed help. I can't speak to the reason behind that, but it was our experience and it did affect our visit.

We visited the bakery after seeing it on TikTok. The presentation was beautiful, and the staff were friendly. We ordered a few fruit pastries, croissants, and their tres leches. The tres leches was delicious. Everything we ordered was not overly sweet; it was balanced, and all was delicious. A little pricier, but you kind of pay for the craftsmanship and the amazing work. We enjoyed everything and would come again!

What an amazing and beautiful place. Me and my fiancée were wanting dessert and decided to drive 20 minutes to this place and we are so glad we found it. The staff if amazing. It looks amazing and we had the most romantic date. We ended up sitting against the wall and found these jars full of BIBLE VERSES. Can you imagine that??? It was beautiful. The food and drinks were so good my fiancée can’t stop talking about it. It’s gorgeous inside and we had such a great time I mean honestly it was the best date by far. Thanks so much for making our day so special. Every other group of folks sat and enjoyed it as well.

I found a GEM of a bakery and I’m still not over it! ✨ I kept seeing them go viral everywhere — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok — literally thousands of videos all over my feed. After watching so many reviews, I finally decided to make the 2-hour drive… and let me tell you, it was 100% worth it! It was super crowded (as expected because of all the hype), but the experience was amazing. I’m actually writing this review after my second visit — and it was just as good as the first time! The moment I tried their famous fruit-shaped desserts and some of their croissants, I completely fell in love. 🥐🍓 The desserts are not overly sweet at all, which makes them perfect for someone like me who isn’t really a sweet tooth. The flavors are so balanced, fresh, and satisfying. And I have to mention — their staff are incredibly polite and helpful. Even with the crowd, they were patient and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Totally worth the drive, the wait, and the hype. I’ll definitely be going back again!
